The Studio Salon will celebrate its one year anniversary in July. Moving to our downtown location has been a positive change for us and we continue to do our part in the revitilization of Shippensburg's downtown business district with the addition of Pin Ups Fine Apparel for men and women.

With the opening of Pin Up's Fine Apparel fastly approaching, our team was able to organize a series of photo shoots based loosely on old-fashioned pin-up pictures from the 40's and 50's. We took the older concept and put a modern twist on the idea with fresh fashion along with modern make-up and hair techniques. Using skills aquired from Bumble and Bumble we were able to explore new and exciting use of their product line. We created eight fabulous looks to be displayed in Pin Up's just in time for their grand opening on April 30th.

Jessica Johnston, Bb Network Educator, organized and presented the salon with "Men's Grooming" the class highlighted quick styling for men using new products Bb Gel and Gellac along with refreshing us on new uses for older products. A focus on layering of products to produce new looks was demonstrated on a model to give mens cuts more versatility.

Jessica Johnston, Bb Network Educator, presented the salon with "Round Brush and Flat Brush." These classes focused on use of products and blow-drying techniques to smooth the hair. Flat and straight or voluminous and loosely waved. Each stylist had to demonstrate the techniques on a model and were critiqued until they achieved the desired results.

Black Friday
Pin Up's Fine Apparel will be open 9am to 8pm for Black Friday. We are offereing 30% off jeans all day as well as 15% off any Hurley, Ed Hardy, and Winter Jackets. As well as 10% off Juno apparel.
We will also be giving away a FREE MAKE-OVER!!
The first 50 people will be put into a drawing and we will select a winner that will receive merchandise from the store. Also the stylists from The Studio Salon will be giving a free make-up application as well as a free hair style.
